JELL-O
America’s dessert.
Watch it glimmer.
See it shimmer.
Cool and fruity.
Tastes so light and makes such FUN.
“There’s always room for Jell-O”

A catch phrase that emphasizes fun and that reflects a fixation of over consumption… even when you’re already stuffed… there is always room for more. Coined “Americas most famous dessert” in 1902… not by popular consensus but by an advertisement in Ladies Home Journal.

Gelatin, water, sugar and food coloring.

Chew it up. Spit it out.

Chew it up. Spit it out.

Chew it up. Spit it out.

It becomes reality through its habitual existence. This rhythm that is constructed around us has become our truth. An all encompassing truth. It’s regurgitated over and over. As it is regurgitated it takes on a new form but it never strays too far from its original source.
