Whether it is for an individual, corporation, or nation…
It is a way for “you” to connect with me.
A way for me to connect with “you”.
A slogan should be simple, catchy, short and easy. Touch on an emotional level. Be complete and reliable. Speak and represent the real essence of the brand and define the aim for the product.
It is a way for “you” to connect with me.
A way for me to connect with “you”.
Retail corporations and U.S. politics use slogans, catchphrases, sayings, motos and expressions to communicate with large populations. It is no surprise that they use the same language and tone in their advertising. They are both not only selling nationalism or a product but a lifestyle and an ideology. If slogans are supposed to connect with a viewer emotionally then what psychological affects does capitalism and politics using the same language have on people?
Are they so intertwined that they are one in the same? If they are one in the same how does this affect our individual and collective psyche?
So, to say again…
Whether it is for an individual, corporation, or nation…
It is a way for “you” to connect with me.
A way for me to connect with “you”.
So who is this “you” anyways? Is it an individual, a corporation or a nation? Or is it all the above?
